Why I wrote a Children’s Book.

Hello, my name is Ellen Lewinberg. I have been helping people heal naturally for decades. I started as a child and adult Psychoanalyst and, since 2010, have served as a Bioenergy Healer. You will find my work experience at Healing Transformation. My home base is Toronto, Ontario; however, I treat people worldwide via Zoom or Facetime.

So, I’m now writing children’s books. This is the story behind this adventure and why I decided now is the time for some books like Joey and His Friend Water.

I have been told many times in my life that I should write a book—even to this day. In the past, I never knew what to write about. I went to several psychics in my life, and they all told me, ” You are a writer.” I said, “No.” They said you are, and one even told me, “You will write four books.”

Yet, nothing happened. I did not even get the urge to write.

I had a supervisor/mentor when I was doing my psychoanalytic training. She found three of my cases very interesting and said, “You have to write them up and present them at a conference.”

I was terrified. I hated public speaking.

She would not take no for an answer. She pushed and prodded, and eventually, with her help, I wrote them up. She presented with me.

I found the whole thing so overwhelming that I have never written anything else – until now.

Fast forward thirty or so years. I changed careers, started working as an energy healer, and learned so much about the world — that I wish I had gained much of this knowledge as a child.

What I learned: I began sharing in my blog posts on Healing Transformation.

I also started talking about writing a children’s book. On two occasions, I tried writing with a friend (two different friends). Both times, my desire just petered out.

And then, recently, out of nowhere, I decided again that I wanted to write a children’s book. This time, I sat down and wrote it.

I wanted to write a book about earth-friendly ideas so that children would better understand their importance. Using the voice of Water as a teacher, I found myself writing about how everything is conscious and connected, and fairies (plant spirits) are real (even if they are being told they do not exist).

I wanted to talk about the things I have been learning from the ancient texts and more contemporaries like Masaru Emoto, Bruce Lipton, Caroline Cory, Diane Beresford Kroeger, Raymon Grace, Paul Stamets, Zach Bush, Veda Austin, Brian Weiss, Dolores Cannon, and so many more.

I wanted to tell children about the earth-friendly concepts I have learned through energy and healing.

My love of nature extends into my home.

If we knew what we could do from childhood, we would be much more unrestricted, open, and creative.

When I was young, I used to talk to fairies at the bottom of my garden. My parents told me fairies did not exist; they were not real. This confused me. Today, Findhorn and Perelandra, as well as many other places, are always working with plant spirits. Co-creating with them.

Now you know why I wrote this book.

Obviously, I could not cover everything in this little book. I’m already planning for there to be others. I will keep you posted.
